6th and 9th grade homework due Wednesday, September 12th
6th grade:
The ROUGH DRAFT of your creative ending to "The Lady or The Tiger" is due, printed out, at the start of class on Wednesday morning. Please remember: if you are choosing to TYPE this, it must be a minimum of 1 full page, double-spaced (times new roman, 12 point font). If you are choosing to hand-write this, it must be at least two pages, single-spaced. Also, remember that your objective is to mimic the author's style and stay true to the story's elements. In your ending, you must deal with what happens to the princess and her lover. Also, keep in mind that this is a rough draft and will not be graded other than for a homework check (whether or not you meet the above requirements).
9th Grade:
Since you all worked so arduously in class today, you have earned a lighter homework load; for Wednesday, all you must do is complete the four pieces of missing analysis that were on the board (and therefore copied into your notes) regarding the poem, "Manic Depression."
Also, you may want to take this time to begin studying for Friday's vocabulary quiz (over lists one AND two).
