Sixth grade due Wednesday: 1) Read chapter one from _Banner in the Sky_ and TIME YOURSELF. Be sure to write down when you started reading and when you completed the assignment. 2) Bring _A Single Shard_ to class for one more day! 3) Get started on your "Choice Book" project which is due on Friday of next week (9/5)
Spoken Word due tuesday: Rough draft of your "This I believe" essay is due to be read aloud in class on Tuesday. Come prepared. Practice reading your essay aloud at home this weekend!
7/8th Grade English due wednesday: Work on your Choice Book Plot Map (Due Friday!) and, due Wednesday, please read pages 1-17 in Mutant Message Down Under. Be sure to mark spots in the book where you find interesting points, or where you find questions. Also be sure to look up any words that you do not know, and write the definition in the book to use as a reference later. ALSO- BE SURE TO TIME YOURSELF AS YOU READ THESE PAGES. I will ask you to report back to me, and I will use this class average as a way to decide the pages... so contribute to the average!
