7/8th grade homework due Wed.

Please bring in a little bit of food (whatever you want) that is enough to share a little bit with at least five other folks (sleeve of cookies, etc.-- but ask your mom if it's okay first BEFORE you take food out of her pantry!!!) to celebrate the end of the semster together! We'll be playing with poems and words on Wednesday, so get excited! I can't waiT!

7/8th grade homework due Friday, December 10

Please choose one topic that you generated on your reading quiz IN CLASS today on the short story entitled, "The Necklace," to develop into a paragraph response. Most of you were able to at least get to start this in class on Wednesday. If you were not in class on Wednesday, please write one paragraph (5-8 sentences) where you argue what you felt like was the biggest climax in the short story, "The Necklace." Please use ONE quotation from the story as evidence and be sure to explain how the quotation is climactic. Do not work more than 30 minutes on this paragraph.

7/8th Homework due Friday

On Friday, we will hold our "Allegory Olympics!" In order to prepare, be sure to finish, type and print out your works for the four events. Don't work too hard at home, though. If you aren't able to complete an entry in EACH event, that is okay. Just be sure you feel good about the work you are doing.
